As a BAR affiliate, the annual BAR Conference is always an important event on our calendar. This year, the 3-day conference was held in the historic town of Stratford Upon Avon from 23rd to 25th May. As usual, the conference provided useful market information from influential speakers and social events and concluded with the hotly anticipated BAR Mover of the Year awards.

Our team had a stand at the exhibition where we showcased our range of storage and removal containers which included our quality warehouse containers, individual packing cases and export lift vans.

Having had the chance to talk in depth with other delegates and attendees at the event, we were able to get a much clearer picture of the current market conditions and a better understanding of the scope of uncertainty the removal and storage industries are facing.
As we had expected, there are some uncertain and trying times ahead for the industry in the current climate, in particular with the uncertainty surrounding Brexit. The viewpoint was much the same for many of the delegates we spoke too.
